Immerged in a wonderful Mediterranean pines grove, Castellaneta Marina is a small town between Puglia and Basilicata, loved by Italian and foreign tourists due to its sandy coast, shaped by the dunes and the crystalline sea. Sunny lands, spiritual and mystic places, to discover an artistic and culinary heritage, full of history and charm.

Puglia is a region rich of history and culture. Travelling around you will discover timeless landscapes, unforgettable colours and flavours, unique art and tastes.

Castellana Caves (Castellana Grotte - BA)

The wonderful Castellana's caves are one of the most important natural attractions of Italy. The underground path of over 2km, made of tunnels and cavities, offers a breath-taking limestone atmosphere, shaped by incredible stalactites and stalagmites.

Alberobello - BA

Globally famous for its unique conic stone buildings, since 1996 the "trulli" of Alberobello have become a UNESCO world heritage.

Zoosafari (Fasano - BR)

Have you ever pet a zebra or a giraffe? Have you ever driven next to a tiger, a lion or an elephant? At the zoosafari these unique experiences are undoubtedly possible! In a totally safe habitat, specifically designed to grant the serenity and well-being of the "guests", you will have the chance to see lots of wild and rare animals.

Only 40 minutes far from the village you will discover Matera, known as "the town of stone" due to its "Sassi": an ancient town dug in the sandstone, full of churches, oil-mills, stables and thousands of underground houses. In 1993 UNESCO recognised Matera's Sassi as a World Heritage. Moreover, thanks to their scenography, they have been the stage of many national and international movies. In 2019 Matera will be the European Capital of Culture.

The "Volo dell'Angelo" - from Pietrapertosa to Castelmezzano (MT)

At the presence of the wonderful "Dolomiti Lucane", live the unique thrill of descending for 2 minutes, hanging on a rope, the 1.450 meters between the two towns of Pietrapertosa and Castelmezzano.

Taranto: the city of the two seas and the incomparable MARTA museum

Typical seaside town, Taranto still preserves its famous port, the Apulian-Romanesque cathedral of San Cataldo, the medieval castle and one of the most important museums about Magna Grecia culture, the MARTA, famous for its wonderful "Golds".

Valle d'Itria: Martina Franca (TA) - Cisternino (BR) - Locorotondo (BA)

Not far from the resort, you will find the incredible Valle d'Itria. Among its main towns, surely stand out the baroque Martina Franca, Locorotondo, famous for its vineyards and Cisternino, known for its picturesque town centre.

Castellaneta (TA)

Also known as the town of the "Mito", in this enchanting town was born one of the most famous actors of silent movies: Rodolfo Valentino. You can discover his origins, life and history visiting the museum dedicated to him.

The cave churches in Mottola and Massafra (TA)

The Jonic area is characterised by many limestone crevices, usually known as "gravine". Similar to the American canyons, they are rich of historical traces. One example are the cave churches dug in the rock, similar to other sites disseminated across the Eastern Mediterranean area, from Spain to the Goreme valley in Cappadocia (Turkey).

Benedictine Abbey "Madonna della Scala" - Noci (BA)

50 km far from the resort there is the wonderful and silent countryside of Noci. In this setting the Benedictines built an important abbey, where meditation and the ancient Gregorian prayers will create a suggestive atmosphere for your spirit and soul.

Grottaglie (TA)

Puglia is also known for its centuries-old traditions, in many cases visible through good omen or even magic objects. One clear example are the "ninnoli", made of ceramic and terracotta. Many of these incredible masterpieces are collected in the ceramics museum of Grottaglie.

The Apulian culinary art reflects the complex identity of this region, in the middle between the East and West of the Mediterranean sea, but also the simplicity of the rural and fishing life. Undoubtedly the Apulian food is the perfect summary of the Mediterranean food tradition. Travelling across the countryside you will have the chance to taste the exquisite and genuine wines, whether they are "primitivo" or "negramaro", the unique Apulian extra vergine olive oil, the fresh tastes of the vegetable gardens, the mozzarella and the other typical cheeses of the Murgian area, together with the fish and the seafood catched in the Jonio and Adriatico seas.
